Vincent Dunn puns (Tweets from Sept 9/13)

On Sept 9/13, the Ottawa Senators rookies faced off against the Toronto Maple Leafs rookies to close out the 2013 Annual Leafs Rookie Tournament.  After being down 2-0 in the first, the Sens powered back and scored 6 unanswered goals.  They went on to win 6-2.  There were three Sens goal scorers and if you do the math each had a pair of goals.  First to do it was Shane Prince, then it was Vincent Dunn and then it was Mark Stone.  The Sens improved to 3-0-0 and won the tournament.  Further review on the rookie tournament here (add link).

What is the point of this?

Midway through the third period, Vincent Dunn scored back to back goals in just under 7 seconds to put the Sens up 5-2.  This immediately resulted in Dunn-puns throughout the Twitterverse (ok, mainly the Ottawa twitterverse).  Here are the majority – my apologies if I missed any.  Feel free to post them in the comments below.

And last but not least, here’s mine – which was not on purpose. It originally read “done”, but I deleted it and re-posted.
